A Multi-Level Deck & Spiral Stair

Deck

A thousand square feet of two-story composite deck, framed to carry a hot tub at any point on it, with a double stepped border and a spiral stair between levels.

The client had wanted a large porch for years. Design ran back and forth for weeks before anything was cut, and the job was then carried start to finish.

A thousand square feet over two levels, composite decking on hidden fasteners, with a double border stepped rather than mitred. The framing is deliberately heavy: a hot tub can be set anywhere on it.

The spiral stair is a Paragon Stairs kit — matched to the deck, delivered on a pallet, assembled and set by us.
