Stone Veneer & Exterior Renewal

Exterior Renovation

A failed plywood wall taken back to the studs and rebuilt in stone with four new windows and a new gable vent — then every fascia, soffit and gable on the house repainted.

A garage had been converted into a room some years earlier and sided in plywood, which had since deteriorated. We picked the stone with the owner, ordered four new windows, took the wall back to the studs and reframed the sections that needed it. The elevation was rebuilt from there: stone, windows, trim, the gable above, and a new gable vent.

While we were there it was plainly about time to repaint. We worked up a few colour options in Photoshop and went through them with the owner, who decided to change the colour rather than match it. We then repainted the fascia, soffits, trim and gables around the entire house.

Maintenance work is the right moment to deal with curb appeal. The access is already there and the prep is already being done.
