What we make, and what we take on.
We are a small shop that draws, builds and finishes its own work. That means a narrower list than a general contractor's — and a deeper one.
Before the build
Design is its own service.
We offer design as a separate paid service, and it is a part of this work we intend to keep growing.
Not every job needs it. Plenty arrive as a clear idea, or as work that simply needs doing, and those go straight to a price. But when a project has to be seen before it can be decided, drawing it first is the professional way to go about it.
What that looks like scales with the job. It might be a pencil sketch worked back and forth until a curve is right, or a set of colour options put side by side so the difference is visible before anyone chooses. On a larger project it is a 3D model and a dimensioned floor plan, so you can walk through the thing before committing to it.
These are not architectural or engineered drawings. If your project needs stamped plans, we will tell you and help you get them.
Custom Homes & Shells
From bare site to weather-tight, or all the way through.
Foundations, framing (ordered trusses or stick-built by hand), stone veneer, roofing and weather-tight shell. We will build to whatever line makes sense for you — including stopping at drywall-ready if you intend to finish the interior yourself.
Additions & Outdoor Living
Porches, decks, pergolas, carports, outbuildings.
Screened porches built to look original, multi-level decks with hidden fasteners and stepped borders, timber pergolas, carport conversions, barns and sheds. Built to look like part of the house rather than something attached to it.
Historic Restoration
Sash, doors, trim and porches rebuilt to match what was there.
Most historic work fails at the details — a sash profile that is close but not right, a moulding bought instead of run. We build from raw stock to the original profile, reuse original hardware and glass wherever it can be saved, and stop short of anything that would falsify the building. The window and door work at the Latimore Tourist Home won the 2025 Preserve Arkansas award for Outstanding Work by a Craftsperson.
Windows, Doors & Millwork
Built from raw stock in the shop, to your profile.
Divided-light sash, entry doors, casing and architrave, carved moulding. Mortise-and-tenon joinery, matched cutters, hand glazing. If a profile does not exist in a catalogue, that is usually the reason to call us rather than a reason not to.
Kitchens & Baths
Including the waterproofing nobody photographs.
Full remodels, tile work, shop-built vanities and cast-in-place concrete counters — and the wet-work underneath: pan liners, pre-sloped mud beds, lath-reinforced curbs and full membrane.
Furniture & Built-Ins
Tables, benches, cabinets and built-ins — one piece or a full run.
Live-edge slab tables, communal seating, face-frame cabinets and built-in casework, mortise and tenon jointed. We have delivered a full taproom's worth of matching furniture and we have built a single vanity for one bathroom. Both are the same discipline.
Millwork Built to Order
Built to your drawing, delivered ready to install.
Sash, doors and custom millwork built to specification. It makes no difference to us whether you are a homeowner who needs one window rebuilt or a builder, restoration GC, architect or designer ordering a run of them. If nobody local will quote the piece you need, that is work we take.
